Gomang Carpet Manex (P.)
Ltd. (GCM) was established in 1987. It first started in a little rented
house with a mere 50 weavers and a production of about 200sq. mtrs. per month.
Today we own our property with a well-established factory building,
accommodation for 200 weavers and our production is 1200sq. mtrs. per month.
Gomang Carpet Manex (P.) Ltd. is also one of the key founding members and a licensee of the
Nepal RugMark Foundation. We are totally against child labour. In fact, we
have a day care center for the children of our weavers.
Gomang Carpet Manex (P.) Ltd. is Nepal's first ISO 9001- 2000
Certified Carpet Industry.
Much of Gomang's achievements can be attributed to our hard working staff and
an efficient
management.
Our management team consists of a combination of the young promising and
energetic and, as well as the wise expert having more than 25 years of
experience in the manufacture of traditional Tibetan and modern design
carpets. |
